Dan Vickers was born and raised in Northern Illinois. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Tippie College of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Following his time at the University of Iowa, Mr. Vickers received the Chancellor’s Law Scholarship to attend Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was a managing editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review. While at Vanderbilt, he also worked as a research assistant and spent a summer working as a judicial extern for a federal judge in the Northern District of Illinois.
After receiving his Juris Doctorate, Mr. Vickers held a year-long position as the Shallenberger Brown Research Fellow for Vanderbilt University Law School’s Energy, Environment, and Land Use Program. At the conclusion of this fellowship, he decided to turn his focus from academic research to the practice of law. He became an Associate Attorney after being admitted to the Tennessee Bar in October 2025. Mr. Vickers is excited for the opportunity to use the tools he has acquired over the years to serve the people of Middle Tennessee.
